Hello and welcome! I am Will Sherwood, a PhD candidate at the University of Glasgow and an environmental photographer. My award-nominated research examines the intersections of J.R.R. Tolkien’s Middle-earth legendarium and British Romanticism. In particular, I am interested in how Romanticism has shaped Middle-earth and its adaptations, consequently becoming key sites for the transformation of Romanticism in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.
